The renovated old Villa Jara is a very special property. It consists of an approximately 200-year-old and completely renovated main building, a new building with further bedrooms, each with its own toilet and shower en suite, and a third part of the property with a large summer kitchen, a large shaded terrace overlooking the pool and a front terrace with relaxed seating. In the lovingly renovated main house there is an open-plan kitchen and a very large, open-plan and modern living/dining area. The furnishings are wonderfully bright and predominantly in white: The old exposed beam ceilings have been given a coat of white paint, the cosy furniture in the living area is white and the walls are bright white. The large, sandstone-coloured floor tiles and the partially antique wall paintings and wooden furniture form a beautiful contrast to this room. The dining area opens up and leads you into the large, modern-style living room/kitchen. The cream-coloured kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, from a kettle, toaster, microwave, juicer, coffee machine, cooker (set at a comfortable height) to a dishwasher. The long, narrow wooden window in the kitchen is particularly beautiful, a special feature with a great view and provides plenty of light in the room. For the colder seasons, there is a fireplace in the main house that conjures up cosy warmth. Opposite the kitchen at the other end of the living room, a free-standing stone staircase leads up to the only bedroom in the old building, which is also the only one equipped with air conditioning. From the comfortable bedroom you have access to a private terrace. Of course, there is also a modern bathroom on this floor.

When you leave the main house, you reach the covered veranda and a small orchard. Both are right next to the house. Here you will find built-in stone benches with thick, white cushions and plenty of space to relax and linger. The outdoor area has a total of 3 terraces, one of which is right next to the beautifully renovated, antique main house. The second terrace is located alongside the new building and also offers plenty of seating for relaxing. In the terracotta-coloured new building you will find four completely independent double bedrooms, each with its own entrance and not connected to each other. Each of these individually designed bedrooms is equipped with a ceiling fan and has its own bathroom with all mod cons. One of the rooms even has an additional room that could be used either as a living room or a children's room, a function for which we believe it would be particularly well suited. Terrace areas extend along each bedroom and are covered by a bamboo roof. A comfortable furniture set is also set up here so that you can get up in the morning and enjoy direct access to the terrace, no matter which bedroom you are in, and enjoy the fresh morning air. The beds are 1.40 m and 1.60 m in size, and even 1.80 m in two of the bedrooms. In winter, the main house can also be rented by just two people, especially thanks to the fireplace. Both the main building and the new houses have central heating.

We are particularly impressed by the fantastic pool area with its outstanding details. The level pool measures 10 x 4 metres and has a depth of between 0.70 and 2 metres. The pool is surrounded by a terrace. There is a sun lounger for each guest and two parasols to provide shade. The brick bench in front of the pool offers an additional place to sit back and enjoy a long sunbath. In the summer months, life is likely to take place mainly outside. In addition to the two other covered terraces, we find another terrace that extends directly alongside the pool. This terrace is covered with a canopy and bamboo, making it the perfect place to find shelter from the sun. The white fabric curtains on the sides not only give this area more aesthetics, but also provide additional protection from the wind and sun. Under the large canvas roof is another picturesque seating area with a lounge atmosphere, where you can take a deep breath and recover from the stresses and strains of everyday life. There is plenty of room for every single guest at the long dining table and a special highlight is the adjoining summer kitchen, which, like the kitchen in the main house, is equipped to a high standard and has a dishwasher and washing machine, fridge, oven, hob, microwave and plenty of cutlery. In addition to this summer kitchen, there is also a free-standing charcoal barbecue. So if you want to cook, you'll find this fantastic outdoor kitchen an ideal summer spot, while you can reserve the comfy, cosy walls of the main house and the sleeping area in the new build almost exclusively for sleeping or as a sanctuary after a long day of exploring the surrounding area.

The charming Villa Jara is situated in a completely private location, close to a country road that leads directly to the beautiful natural beach of Es Trenc. If you are planning a day at the beach, there are countless different options in addition to Es Trenc here in the southern part of the island, each with its own advantages: Between Es Trenc and the beach of Sa Rapita lies the magnificent Platja Ses Covetes is 300 metres long and only 4.5 km from the villa. There you will find parasol and sunbed hire as well as a beach bar and a kiosk. However you spend your day, whether on one of the fantastic beaches in the south of the island or in your spacious Villa Jara and its extraordinary outdoor area, your stay in this cosy villa property promises relaxation and enrichment for the soul in a lovingly, individually and comfortably designed ambience. The 200-year-old Villa Jara with an additional new building and a great outdoor kitchen is situated in a wonderful rural location between Campos (10 minutes away by car) and the small coastal town of Ses Covetes. In Campos you can do your daily shopping or perhaps stock up on fresh regional produce, which is sold on Thursdays and Sundays at the weekly market in the village. The attractive Platja Ses Covetes is only 4.5 km away, and the villa is located on the country road on the way to the beautiful natural beach of Es Trenc.

Please note that this property does not accept youth groups or stag and hen parties. A youth group at this property consists of people aged 21 years or younger. Do not book this property if you are a youth group or stag party group as your booking will be refused after booking, which may also be on arrival at the property or during your stay, and you will not receive a refund.
