A little later you can quickly reach the sandy beach on foot.

If you want to enjoy a nice day at the beach, the beaches of Nerja are a good option. You can also visit the market, which takes place every Tuesday and Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm, and enjoy the view of the Mediterranean and the Sierra de Almijara from the Balcón de Europa. If you fancy more excursions, you can visit the stalactite caves of Cueva de Nerja, the picturesque village of Maro and the authentic Torrox with its narrow streets, stairs and slow pace. Meet the locals on their small haciendas, where they grow mangoes, oranges, avocados, lemons, olives, almonds and much more.
