In addition to countless hiking trails and excursion destinations, the beautiful region offers numerous leisure and recreational opportunities. Whether you decide to spend a fun day at the "Fort Fun" amusement park, which is only 2.5 km away, to visit the nearby mining museum in Ramsbeck or to take a trial course in paragliding in Elpe... it never gets boring. In Olsberg (about 10 km away) you'll find Aqua, a sports and leisure pool complex. Swim laps in the 25m-long sports pool with diving tower, recharge in the saline pool or simply enjoy peace and quiet in the sauna facility. The immediate vicinity offers winter sports enthusiasts several top modern ski lifts and cross-country skiing trails.
