Charming House in Hasenfeld with Private Parking and Uninterrupted View
The detached house is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac on a large site. The garden leads into a wild little valley with a stream running through it and directly into the forest. A walking path starts right next to the house that leads in 400 metres to the lower little lake Rursee below the big dam wall. Further paths lead up the mountain to the big Rursee 600 metres away or through the forest to the outdoor pool in Heimbach (1500 metres).
The big site is a children’s paradise: they can play football, cricket or badminton, run around or sit on the lawn and have a picnic, outdoors but still in a sheltered area. In fine weather they can splash around with water from the rain barrels or build a dam at the stream in the wild valley. The terrace provides space for Bobby car tours. Adults can enjoy the shade under the awning, the fresh air and the indescribable peace and quiet during the day, as well as the uninterrupted view of the starry sky in the Eifel at night. As the site borders the forest you can observe wild animals on the meadow behind the house: deer and hares, squirrels, birds and foxes.
The ground floor comprises a generous and comfortable living room and dining room, upstairs there are individually furnished bedrooms. A big hallway leads into the house with a little shoe bench for sitting and changing shoes and wardrobes for coats and jackets. The big kitchen has a solid wooden table for 8 to 10 people and is equipped with all the necessary appliances: stove and oven, microwave and fridge, dishwasher and various coffee machines, a kettle and toaster. There is also a condiment rack, vinegar and oil, sugar and salt, a pepper mill and a basic stock of coffee and tea. The fireplace room provides a couple of armchairs and a low table, as well as a bright yellow sofa ideal for snuggling and reading. From here you can directly access the terrace and the garden. The lovely new bathroom is fitted with a toilet, washbasin and a walk-in shower behind a big glass wall. The window is opaque due to mirror foil, so nobody can look in from the terrace. The living room is divided into two: at the front there is a big area with wide armchairs and sofas for relaxing and watching TV, to the rear a big dining table that can be pulled out as a festive table. In the glasses cabinet you can find all sorts of wine and champagne glasses, beer glasses and cognac glasses etc. A door leads from the living room to the conservatory with terrace furniture, where you can also smoke in bad weather. The first floor comprises four individual bedrooms: bedroom Frieda with a kingsize bed (140cm wide) and a sofa bed (150cm wide) and a view of the horse pasture (towards the sunrise), bedroom Timo with two single beds and a supplementary bed facing the big garden, bedroom Oskar with a double bed (180cm wide) and a desk, as well as a wall TV, the windows also facing the garden, and finally bedroom Luise with a double bed 8180cm wide) and a view of the Kermeter. From the window you can also see the holiday resort Eifeler Tor. Extra blankets and pillows are available. There is a lovely hidden hideaway for children.
The Eifel around Rursee is one of the most popular holiday regions in Germany. Apart from countless hiking paths and wonderful viewing points, you can go on cycle tours together or take a bus or boat and then cycle back. The heated outdoor pool in Heimbach is beautifully situated in the Rurtal and at Rursee there are several swimming beaches with a fantastic view over the lake.
The facilities leave nothing to be desired: towels (also for the beach) and bed linen, toilet paper, condiments, oil and vinegar, coffee and tea, washing up liquid, games and coloured pens for children, books for all ages and in various languages: you will find everything you need and more.
