This small, cosy seaside resort is considered by many, especially families, as their summer retreat. Schönhagen has a sandy beach, approximately 1000 metres long and guarded by lifeguards. It seamlessly connects to the beach of Kappeln in the north and to a steep coast in the south. On the beach, directly behind the small promenade, there are 60 comfortable cottages. A typical holiday in the Baltic Schönhagen goes something like this - be awakened by the roar of the sea on stormy days, take a walk on the beach on cold winter days and later relax in the sauna or hot tub. Wrap up the day in the cosy living room in front of the fireplace. You can spend sunny days on the beach or lounge on the sun terrace and enjoy the magnificent sunsets.
