The sparsely populated area around Muro is predominantly agricultural and very quiet, so you can enjoy a very relaxing holiday here. Visitors to Villa Can Jener are warmly welcomed to this very well-kept property with lush Mediterranean vegetation. A well-paved access road leads you to your little green holiday paradise, where you can park your car in the shade under the carport. The cosy 4,000 m² outdoor area invites you to spend time in the great outdoors. In addition to the attractive lawn with many sunny spots, the garden also offers numerous opportunities to relax in the natural shade thanks to its extensive tree population. Accompanying children (of school age) can play, romp and let off steam on the extensive grounds, for example playing table tennis. The absolute highlight for everyone is of course the extra-large pool right next to the house! With a size of 12 x 12 m and a maximum depth of 1.80 m, it really is a splendour, even sporty swimmers can swim their laps here and keep fit on holiday. After a refreshing dip in the pool, you should definitely give in to the temptation to grab one of the eight sun loungers on the surrounding terrace and soak up the Mallorcan sun. If you need a little more shade in between, you can make yourself comfortable on the covered area of the pool terrace, perhaps with a good book and a delicious drink? There is also a large table here for al fresco dining or board games. A small staircase leads down from the pool to the garden, where a semi-open veranda with a cosy seating area and another dining area awaits your use for the evening BBQ.
This traditional villa is an antique building that is more than 100 years old. In this case, however, tradition does not mean sacrificing anything, as Can Jener has been extensively renovated and offers you many amenities in addition to the traditional ambience, such as the fully equipped kitchen, the modernised bathroom with shower and/or bathtub or a large flat-screen satellite TV. Thanks to the extremely cosy interior design, the villa quickly gives visitors a feeling of familiarity and the ground floor in particular impresses with the spaciousness of the open-plan living and kitchen area. The use of natural tones, stone and wood gives the entire house an extremely cosy atmosphere. With a total living area of 400 m², this attractive villa has plenty of space and opportunities to retreat in peace or spend time together. The living room has direct access to the covered veranda in the garden. There is also a cosy bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. Further friendly bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the first floor and offer plenty of storage space for your holiday wardrobe. All bedrooms can be individually air-conditioned. The additional reception room on the upper floor is particularly practical, with a cosy sofa (ideal for a little siesta in between) and a small kitchen with fridge. From there, it's just a short walk across the balcony to the pool, where you can surprise your loved ones with a snack or a cold drink.
Despite its rural location, this idyllic holiday home is also an ideal base for exploring more of the island. Due to its proximity to the main road, you have excellent infrastructure links with the village of Muro just 5 minutes away, where you can shop in the supermarket or enjoy a delicious café con leche in one of the quaint cafés. The drive to Mallorca's third largest town, Inca, known for the production of all kinds of leather goods and its lively pedestrianised area, is only 15 minutes by car. The beautiful beaches of the nearby bay of Alcúdia invite you to visit and enjoy hours of sunbathing and swimming. Playa de Muro with its numerous water sports facilities is highly recommended. This beach is particularly family-friendly as it has a playground and the access to the sea is very shallow. The attractive villa Can Jener is situated on a 4,000 m² plot in the rural north of the area, close to the village of Muro. All daily shopping can be done in the village and particularly fresh, regional products are offered every Sunday at the weekly market.
