The holiday apartment is on the ground floor of a four-storey apartment building, measures 73m² and comprises two halls, a living room with a tiled fireplace stove and seating, a bed bench (90 x 210cm), a dining table with a bench and chairs for six people, and an adjoining open kitchen that includes a dishwasher, electric stove, microwave and fridge. There are also two bedrooms, one with a large double bed (200 x 210cm) and one with two single beds (90 x 200cm), a WC and a shower room with a further toilet. The apartment is furnished in a traditional Salzburg style, is heated with radiators and an electric tiled stove, has TV sets (cable TV with a wide range of channels in various languages) and plenty of cupboard space in each room. The apartment is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.
The apartment features a large south-facing terrace and a private, free parking space for house guests.
The amply equipped apartment building offers a concierge service, an indoor pool, a sauna, a bowling alley, table tennis, table football, wireless Internet access throughout the house, a shared laundry room in the cellar, a lockable ski depot and a communal party room. The pool, sauna, table tennis and table football are free for guests. The bowling alley can be booked by the hour at the concierge. The laundry facilities are coin-operated. The concierge is always on site and is paid by the owners. Additional services such as a bread rolls delivery service or bed linen hire are payable directly to the concierge. Zell am See is a good starting point for a tour of Grossglockner, a trip to the Schmittenhöhe or the Krimmler waterfalls half an hour away, or the city of Salzburg an hour away. The cable cars are a five-minute walk away, directly accessible on skis, and the descent from the Aberg ski resort leads directly in front of the door. You can walk to some restaurants and guesthouses. Some pharmacies and medical practices provide medical services in Maria Alm and Saalfelden, where you can also find a range of shops. The ski carousel is one of the largest in Austria, with pistes to suit all levels and many chalets inviting you to call in. For apres-ski there are also rustic chalets in Maria Alm, Hintertal and Saalfelden, where there are various skiing and snowboarding schools and ski kindergartens, one right by the house. There is a sledge run from Juffen (accessible by car also in winter) to Maria Alm. Some of the chalets and cable cars are in operation in summer. Nearby Saalfelden has a summer toboggan run and a swimming lake. The Salzburger Festspiele are also within easy access. There are homeland museums and a farmer’s theatre in the area.
