Modern holiday apartments near the beach with a private terrace, in a hilly location with a panoramic view of the bay

This new and modern house (built in 2010) with three holiday apartments on the ground floor is in a quiet area in the little town Vrbnik. It is on a hill, affording a breathtaking panoramic view of the sea, the bay and the locality. It is only about 700 metres or a ten-minute walk to the centre and the beach. The house is also conveniently on the main bus line that links the island with the mainland.

The apartments are fitted with air conditioning and free wireless Internet access.

Each apartment features a large terrace with a wonderful panoramic view of the sea. All the terraces provide garden furniture and a grill. The site is fenced and is therefore also suitable for a holiday with children. Each apartment has a car parking space.

Rijeka airport is 28km away, about half an hour by car. Shops, grocery shops, cafés and restaurants can be found all around the centre. Owing to the central location and the good transport connections, the island is a good starting point for exploring many of Croatia’s sights, such as Plitvice Lakes National park, which consist of a chain of hundreds of lakes with beautiful waterfalls and is a UNESCO world natural heritage site, or the Pula amphitheatre from Roman times. The island also offers outdoor activities such as diving, donkey riding, sailing or windsurfing. The island of Krk also has several well-preserved medieval towns such as Omisalj, Krk and Vrbnik, built of the regional white stone, with museums and historical churches.

Ground-floor apartment for four people

The new and modern house with three apartments on the ground floor in a quiet area of small town Vrbnik, with breathtaking panoramic views of the sea and Vrbnik, surrounded by nature.

The apartment of around 65m² can accommodate four people. The centrepiece of the apartment is the spacious living room with air conditioning and an open kitchen. The sitting area provides a flatscreen TV for evening entertainment and a comfortable sofa that can be converted into a bed. The dining space for four people is right in front of the kitchen unit, equipped with a stove, coffee machine, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and kettle. Each of the two bedrooms is furnished with a double bed 160cm wide. The bathroom is fitted with a bath with a shower attachment, a WC, a washbasin and a hairdryer, for a good start to the day.

Our house is located 10 minutes walk from town and the beach.

    “Die Ferienwohnung war wirklich klasse, wie auf den Bildern, sehr sauber!
    Unsere 1jährige Tochter konnte überall bedenkenlos herumkriechen.
    Platz war genug für 3 Personen + Kleinkind.
    Die Besitzer, welche über uns wohnten, waren zuvorkommend und Hilfsbereit.

    Es ist zwar nicht genau im Ort Vrbnik, aber das macht nichts. Man hat einen Super Blick über den Ort, in dem man in 4 Min mit dem Auto gefahren ist.”

    “Lage und Ausstattung entsprechen der Beschreibung und sind modern und mit persönlicher Note. Ruhig, am Ortsrand gelegen mit wunderschönem Ausblick auf Meer und Vrbnik. Wer es im Urlaub nicht scheut, ein paar hundert Meter zu Fuß zu gehen um in den Ort und an den Strand zu gelangen und auch steile Anstiege nicht fürchtet, findet hier ein idyllisches Plätzchen. Besonders gemocht haben wir die Terrasse mit dem eigenen Grill. Ein wenig mehr Geschirr in der Küche und ein paar Weingläser wären schön. Und eine Sonnenschutzüberdachung für die PKW-Stellplätze wären eine angenehme Verbesserung.
    Ansonsten war die Ausstattung wirklich sehr gut.
    Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und unaufdringlich zuvorkommend.”
